First 1/4 of the season done
How do you rate our summer signings?

Lukasz Fabianski (GK) - Swansea
An improvement. My initial thoughts were that he was shaky, but has convinced me. The central defence has settled and he has made some significant saves.

Issa Diop (CB) - Toulouse & Fabian Balbuena (CB) - Corinthians
These two have been magnificent signings!! Diop is a real beast and they are forming a partnership which will keep Ogbonna and Ried out. If Ried ever comes back.

Ryan Fredericks (RB) - Fulham
Is he learning? Or is he the replacement for Sam Byram? Looks to have potential and speed, but has not been able to keep Zab out despite starting the season, so clearly had the upper hand.

Felipe Anderson (Mf/W) - Lazio
Blows hot and cold. Great game against Arsenal and a beautifully taken goal vs Man U. Not showing the price tag yet, but Arnie didn't either at his start. Maybe he is only up for it against top name teams.

Lucas Perez (Fwd) - Arsenal
What was the point?

Carlos Sanchez (DMf) - Fiorentina
Jack Wilshere (Mf) - Free agent
Andriy Yarmolenko (Mf/W) - Borussia Dortmund
FUBAR.

Xande Silva (Fwd) - Vitoria de Guimaraes
Sebastián Nebyla (16 yr old Mf) - Spartaka Trnava
Youth prospects so time will tell.

3 good signings, 3 50/50 and 3 injured.

Are we getting a bit close to 'too good to go down' if this carries on?

Apparently Wilshere would still be with Arsenal had Wenger continued. Arsenals gain, our loss.

For me Diop is the player of the year so far and Yarmalenko is loss of the season.

Any chance we can leave Wilshire on Arsenals doorstep, ring the bell then run away?

Lukas Fabianski - 9/10 and my player of the year so far

Issa Diop - 8/10, strong and quick and has as much potential as Van Dijk who i saw at a similar age

Fabian Balbuena - 8/10, great reader of the game and relies less on physicality than Diop

Ryan Fredericks - 6/10, had a tough start in a much more adventurous formation but hopefully learning plenty off Zaba. he'll be needed this season so i hope he stays patient

Felipe Anderson - 6/10, has loads of talent but his head goes down too quick. also looks a bit wasted out wide and would probably flourish inside

Lucas Perez - 5/10, not convinced of his ability to score goals and with the formation we use i don't think he's going to get a chance as the second striker. like arsenal, we may be loaning him out in january

Carlos Sanchez - 5/10, squad player and back up to Rice. hopefully he returns soon as we're short in that area

Jack Wilshere - 5/10, not a great start and got the injury i expected but he may enjoy the freer role in a 4-3-3

Andriy Yarmolenko - 7/10, our only other goal threat after Arnie. when fit, he's a world beater but how often we get him 100% is doubtful

Xande Silva - haven't seen him yet
